Chanticleer Holdings Inc. is an operational holding company focused on expanding its brands internationally and domestically. In 2011, the company acquired Hooters of America (HOA), an operator and the franchisor of over 412 Hooters restaurants in 28 countries. Chanticleer currently owns in whole or part of the exclusive franchise rights to develop and operate Hooters restaurants in South Africa, Australia, Europe, and Oregon and Washington in the U.S., while evaluating several additional international opportunities. The company also owns and operates many other successful restaurants and food service establishments throughout the U.S.
