In a news release, Group Ten Metals Inc. (PGE:TSX.V; PGEZF:OTCQB; 5D32:FSE) announced that the nearly completed induced polarization geophysical survey of its Stillwater West property in Montana "produced impressive results" and drilling there is ongoing.
The British Columbia-headquartered company noted that it continues to advance Stillwater West with the goal of becoming a leading United States-based source of key metals used in batteries and catalytic converters—nickel, copper cobalt, platinum, palladium and rhodium. All of these metals are found in the deposits of Group Ten's project in the Stillwater Mining District.
"We have demonstrated potential for both scale and grade of these commodities in a prolific U.S. mining district that hosts three world-class mines and a smelter," President and CEO Michael Rowley said in the release.
Group Ten also noted that the U.S. government categorized as critical and intends to increase domestic production of nickel, cobalt, platinum, palladium and rhodium, which are five of the Canadian company's target commodities.
